Procedure
regarding Foreigner's Registration
- Registration:
Application is available at counter No.1 on the Ground Floor (click
here for the form). Three forms are required
to be submitted alongwith the following documents.
a) 3 copies of photograph.
b) Xerox copy of the Passport Page.
c) Xerox copy of the visa page.
In normal course, the registration permit will be delivered in 3 working days.

date of arrival datein India
- e) Residential proof
- f) Bonafide certificate
(in case of student visa)
- Return
Visa:
Application for Return Visa for the max. period of 90 days is available at
Counter No. 2 (click here for the form).The
following documents are to be submitted.
a) Original Passport
b) Bonafide certificate from school/college in case of students.
c) Copy of residential permit.
In normal course the R.V. paper will be delivered in 3 working days.
- Student
Extension of Visa:
Application for extension of stay in India for students is available at Counter
No. 3 & 4(click here for the
form) .The following document are required to be submitted alongwith
the application
a) Bonafide Certificate from School/College/University , signed by Competant
Authority only.
b) Bank Balance statement / copy of passbook
c) Landlords Certificate / agreement
d) Xerox copy of Passport page, Visa page.
e) Xerox copy of residential permit.
- f) Certified copy of
the last year marksheet.
In normal course the extension paper will be delivered in 5 working days.
- Long
term Visa Extension:
Application for long-term visa extension is available at Counter No. 6(click here for the form) .This
extension is given to following categories at foreigner 's locality.
a) Foreigners of Indian origin by birth or by parentage.
b) Foreigners married to an Indian citizen.
c) Foreigners staying in India for more than 20 yr.
d) Children below 16 years i.e. minor.
The following documents are required to be enclosed
a) Xerox of the passport page and visa page.
b) Certifided Copy of residential permit.
c) Certifided Copy of marriage certificate.
d) Proof of Indian origin.
- Registration
of Pakastani Nationals:
The Pakistani nationals are required to be registered within 24 hours of arrival
at Counter No. 7 They are not required to fill in any form. However, they
are required to produce the original passport & the detail is recorded
in the register. They are required to produce the following documents:
a) Copy of Passport
b) Copy of Visa Page
c) Proof regarding the place where the Pak National is staying
d) Three photographs.
e) Original visa application form.

- Extension
of stay for Pak Nationals
The form A & B are available at counter No 7 (click

The following documents, depending upon reason for extension are required
to be enclosed in duplicate.
a) copy of Registration permit
b) Copy of Passport & Visa page
c) Medical certificate countersigned by Govt. Medical Officer if the extension
is health ground.
d) Copy of air - rail ticket, if the ground for extension is either confirmation/non-confirmation
of Air -Rail tickets.
e) Wedding cards in case of extension on the ground of 1st degree
relation marriage.
f) Copy of death certificate on the ground of attending death chellum of first-degree
relation.
- Long
Term Extension
Form A & B & categorical report & a form with Col 1 to 18 are
available at Counter No 7
The following documents are required to be furnished in triplet
a) Copy of registration Permit
b) Copy of Passport and Visa Page.
c) Indemnity Bond on Rs 50 /- Court Stampd)
- 4 photographs
- Registration
of Bangladesh Nationals:
The Banglaseshi nationals on s'' visa are required to be registered within
7 days

The following documents are required to furnished depending upon the ground
of extension
1. Copy of Passport & Visa Page
2. Medical Certificate countersigned by Govt. Medical Officer, if the extension
is on health ground.
3.Marriage cards if extension is on the ground of marriage of first degree
relation.
